Danny O'Donoghue has denied reports that he is dating 'The Voice' (UK) contestant Bo Bruce, after taking a break from Irma Mal. The Script singer's model girlfriend was noticeably absent from 'The Voice' final at the weekend, and sources say the pair have decided to cool their romance, reports the UK's Daily Mirror.
The news has led many to believe that Donoghue had struck up a relationship with Bruce, who he mentored throughout the first season of BBC1's singing contest. A show insider said, "He's told people that he and Irma are 'on a break'. No one knows if he and Bo are together for sure but the rumours are circulating like crazy.Everyone wants it to be true because we all love a romance and they seem so happy". A pal of The Script frontman has denied the pair had an affair while working together, telling the UK's Sun newspaper, "Danny has been laughing about the rumour, saying it is complete nonsense. He says there is absolutely no truth in it whatsoever". Bo Bruce came second to winner Leanne Mitchell in the final of 'The Voice', saying, "This experience wouldn't have been the same if I hadn't had Danny. From the word go, he had confidence in me. I get on very well with Danny, we have a lot in common".
Donoghue and his Lithuanian model girlfriend Irma have been dating for four years. She has a nine-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
