Reunited rockers The Replacements are to play their first headlining show in their native Minneapolis, Minnesota since 1991 in September (14). The group has confirmed it will be performing at St. Paul’s Midway Stadium on 13 September (14) as part of a comeback tour, which has prompted bassist Tommy Stinson to temporarily step down as a member of Guns N' Roses. The Replacements ended their 22-year hiatus by returning to the stage at Riot Fest last year (13), and the bandmates recently performed at the 2014 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California, where Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong joined them onstage.
