A new TV comedy series inspired by the lyrics of late rapper Notorious B.I.G. is in the works.
The Juicy hitmaker's mother, Voletta Wallace, has teamed up with creatives at media firm Mass Appeal to develop Think B.I.G., which will follow the misadventures of an inner city teen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The scripted show's storylines will be loosely based on Biggie's song lyrics and air on U.S. cable network TBS, although a premiere date has yet to be announced.
The news emerges as the 20th anniversary of the rap icon's death approaches. The star, real name Christopher Wallace, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on 9 March, 1997, aged 24.
His life story was previously adapted for the big screen in 2009 film Notorious.
