London loves Kevin Spacey
Later today (05.02.03) Kevin Spacey will be announced as the new Creative Director of the Old Vic theatre. Tonight, he and fellow trustee Elton John will be doing a fund raising charity performance at the venue.
The Old Vic is one of the oldest theatres in London and famous throughout the English speaking world. Long known as "the actors' theatre", many of the greatest performers of the last century have played on its stage, including Laurence Olivier, John Gielgud, Alec Guiness, Vivien Leigh, Peter O'Toole and of course Mr Kevin Spacey himself.
The exciting news comes at a time when Spacey's latest movie 'The Life Of David Gale' is due to be released in the UK on March 14th.

With only three days before his scheduled execution, Gale agrees to give Pulitzer-hungry reporter Bitsey Bloom (Winslet) the exclusive interview shes been chasing.
But Bitsey soon realizes that this assignment is more than she bargained for, and that a mans life is in her hands. Putting her own safety in jeopardy, she frantically races to piece together the shocking events surrounding Constances death, before its too late
