Cult British rockers The Libertines are reuniting after four years for a huge concert at London's Hyde Park.
The band split in 2004 following a series of bust-ups over frontman Pete Doherty's drug abuse, but they came back together to perform at Britain's Reading and Leeds festival in 2010.
Rumours surfaced last week (ends20Apr14) that another reunion gig was in the pipeline after Doherty hinted at the news in an interview, and on Friday (25Apr14) the speculation was confirmed.
The Libertines will take to the stage in the U.K. capital as the headline act at the British Summer Time Hyde Park event on 5 July (14). Other bands on the bill include The Pogues, Maximo Park, and Spiritualized.
