American rockers The Killers are "gutted" sound problems ruined their headlining set at England's Glastonbury Festival last month (Jun07).
The band were honoured to be one of three headliners at the Somerset event, but their joy quickly turned to dismay and frustration when they realised their music wasn't being amplified loud enough for the crowd to enjoy.
Guitarist Dave Keuning tells website NME.com, "We could tell it was vastly underpowered. It could have been better in that respect.
"We were a little bit gutted. You have so many thousand people, you should be able to send them home after hearing a pulverizing sound, and that wasn't the case. It was disappointing."
