The Head and the Heart have announced details of the full release of their new album.
Let's Be Still will be released through Kobalt Label Services (home to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and The Pet Shop Boys) on Monday March 3rd 2014 to coincide with forthcoming U.K. shows.
The album, released in the U.S. in October, previously received a limited download only release in the U.K. in the autumn of 2013.
The 13-track album, released on Sub Pop in the U.S, is the follow up to the Seattle band's critically and commercially successful self-titled debut, which was released in 2011 and has gone on to sell over 300,000 copies worldwide.
The tracklisting of the album, which was recorded at Seattle's Studio Litho, produced by the band along with Shawn Simmons and mixed in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with Peter Katis, revered for his work with bands such as the National, Interpol and the Swell Season, is as follows:
1. Homecoming Heroes
2. Another Story
5. Josh McBride
8. Let's Be Still
9. My Friends
10. 10,000 Weight in Gold
11. Fire / Fear
12. These Days Are Numbered
Having just completed a sold-out US tour and recently played an intimate show in October at London's St Pancras Old Church, which sold-out almost immediately after going on sale, the band return to the U.K in early March for a run of dates. The list of shows is as follows:
2nd Manchester Gorilla
3rd Glasgow Oran Mor
4th Dublin Whealan's
6th London Scala
Tickets for the shows are priced at £11 (except London £13.50 and Dublin £16.50).
'Wilson', starring both Dern and Harrelson, is released in U.S. cinemas on March 24th.
