Los Angeles rapper The Game may have sparked his new feud with labelmate 50 CENT by publicly keeping his distance from the New York's rap war with Jadakiss and Fat Joe.

50 Cent publicly severed links with The Game, real name AL BENSON JR, live on FUNKMASTER FLEX's New York radio show on Monday night (28FEB05) - leading to two late-night shooting incidents.

And insiders claim The Game upset his labelmate in January (05) when he refused to support 50 Cent in his musical attack on Jadakiss and Fat Joe.

The two New York rappers come under fire on 50's new THE MASSACRE album - for teaming up with his arch-rival Ja Rule.

In an MTV interview recorded mid-January (05), The Game revealed, "I'm not getting into that. Jadakiss is a good friend of mine and I've had a chance to meet and talk with Fat Joe on several occasions and I think that they're perfectly good dudes. I'm not jumping into the middle of that."

50, real name CURTIS JACKSON, told Flex on his HOT 97 radio show that he was cutting ties with his protege for being "disrespectful".
