Rapper The Game is reportedly in talks to join the cast of a Los Angeles spin-off of hit U.S. reality show Love & Hip Hop.

The Dreams hitmaker broke the news to fans on his Instagram.com page on Sunday (12Jan14) after sharing a photo of himself at a "business meeting" with the show's executive producer Mona Scott-Young and her team.

In his caption, he included a hashtag for Lhhla, suggesting the get-together had to do with a new Love & Hip Hop spin-off.

The franchise chronicles the lives of several women who are romantically involved with hip-hop stars like Joe Budden, Jim Jones, Cam'ron and Fabolous.

The Game previously appeared in his own fly-on-the-wall programme, Marrying The Game, with his former fiancee Tiffney Cambridge, but the on/off couple split after the second series of the show aired in the U.S. last year (13).

It is not yet known if Cambridge will be part of the new series of Love & Hip Hop as she and The Game attempt to repair their relationship.
