Rapper The Game is heartbroken after splitting from his fiancee and blames himself for the split.
The Dreams hitmaker proposed to his longtime love Tiffney Cambridge in October (11), and the couple was planning to chronicle wedding plans and the ceremony itself as part of a reality TV series.
But, on Thursday (19Jul12), the pair announced the nuptials - reportedly set for 28 July (12) - had been called off.
The Game has since opened up about the broken engagement on Twitter.com, and he insists he's the one to blame.
In a series of tweets, the star suggests he failed to appreciate Cambridge, the mother of two of his children, until it was too late.
He writes, "The rumors (sic) are True. The wedding is Off. It's not her fault, it's mine! She's a Great woman, I just wasn't man enough 2 (sic) see it through."
And offering up a piece of relationship advice to his fellow males, he adds, "Important message to all men: If you're lucky to have 1/2 (half) of the woman I had... Appreciate her & do everything necessary to keep her happy! I am truly sorry & apologetic to my family, friends & Everyone that this has affected & inconvenienced. Not everyone has a happy ending."
The break-up comes less than a week after The Game revealed he had signed a deal with executives at 51 Minds Entertainment to document the couple's nuptials and its journey to the altar for a new reality TV show. The rapper has yet to comment on the status of the programme in light of his split.
