SLY + The Family Stone have turned a one-off British concert comeback into an 11-date European tour, after having only played once in the last two decades.
The Stand! band reformed to play at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in February 2006. Frontman Sly Stone has been a recluse since the mid-1980s and hasn't released any solo work since 1987.
Earlier this month (May07), it was announced that Sly + The Family Stone's original line-up - with the exception of bassist Larry Graham - will play The Opera House in Bournemouth, England on 28 July (07).
But now the group has scheduled 10 more dates leading up to that concert, starting at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy on 12 July (07).
