The supernatural thriller, which terrified film fans in 1973, was the basis for the new maze, which will debut at the theme parks' Halloween Horror Nights in September (16).

"The maze will resonate as a real life interpretation of the demonic film," a Universal spokesperson tells WENN. "The maze will recreate some of the film's most haunting scenes, ushering guests into its unparalleled terror as if their very souls were possessed by the devil."

A teaser video giving horror fans a taste of what to expect has been posted on YouTube.
