Following last night's performance on the famous Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show and ahead of their UK tour dates next week, The Drums have unveiled the video for their new single 'Days'.
Released on February 27th, 'Days' is the third single to be taken from The Drums' second album 'Portamento'. A stand out track for its sparse thorny guitar, foreboding harmonies and crest-fallen sentiment, the track perfectly showcases The Drums' knack for making the melancholy feel so alluring and cathartic. The single also includes previously unreleased b-side "I Don't Want to Go Alone."
The accompanying video was produced by Roberts Stage Co. Frontman Jonny Pierce explains: "The song is about that moment when you realize that you are someone different from what you once were. Different needs, different desires. Different hopes and fears. We were lucky enough to have a special guest in our video who is a dear friend and a radiant symbol of being true to who you know you are and moving away from a dark past."
'Days' release date of February 27th 2012 also sees The Drums headline an NME Awards Show at London's Roundhouse as part of a short UK tour. Support will come from Spector.
