Reformed rockers The Darkness, rapper Plan B, and singer/songwriter Pete Doherty are among British stars lining up to show off their ball skills at an upcoming charity soccer event.
The I Believe in a Thing Called Love hitmakers, who last month (Mar11) announced they are reuniting to play festival dates and record a new album, have been added to the list of competitors for the Celebrity Soccer Six tournament in May (11).
Boy band Blue, The Libertines frontman Doherty, and actor Danny Dyer will also be taking part in the event to raise funds for a range of charities.
The annual tournament, which consists of mini soccer matches between teams of six players, launches in London on 30 May (11) and concludes in Burnley, north England in June (11).
