British rockers The Cure have made a ground-breaking promise to fans - they will release a single per month until their new album hits music store shelves this autumn (08).
The band, led by frontman Robert Smith, is set to unleash their first single from their as-yet untitled album on 13 May (08), and will follow it up with A- and B-side singles on the 13th of every month until their next album, their 13th studio effort, is released in September (08).
The first single, The Only One, includes the B-side NY Trip, while the single due in June, Freakshow, comes with the B-side All Kinds Of Stuff. Both B-sides will not appear on the full-length LP.
The Close To Me hitmakers will embark on an extensive North American tour on 9 May (08) in support of the new album.
