The Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan has reportedly been hospitalised in Ireland following her arrest at Shannon Airport early on Monday morning (10Oct14).

The Irish singer was detained by police after her flight from New York landed amid allegations she assaulted a female crewmember onboard the plane. Reports suggest O'Riordan allegedly stamped on the woman's foot after refusing to sit down when instructed. She is also accused of headbutting an officer of the gardai police during her arrest at Shannon Airport.

The 43-year-old Zombie hitmaker was taken to a local police station for questioning, and editors at Rte.ie report she was assessed by an onsite doctor at the facility before being transferred to University Hospital Limerick.

No more details about her condition were available as Wenn went to press.
