Raven-Symone has made a TV comeback in 'State of Georgia'.
The 'Dr. Dolittle' actress - who previously starred in 'THE COSBY SHOW' and 'Hangin' With Mr. Cooper' - has returned to screens in the 30-minute ABC comedy series, which sees her star alongside Majandra Delfino and Loretta Devine.
Raven - who shot to fame in 'A Different World' - plays the role of charismatic Georgia Chamberlin, who moves to New York in an attempt to make it big as an actress.
Georgia lives with her rich Aunt Honey (Loretta) and spends her days working in a New York store with good friend Jo (Majandra), while Brock Cuchna stars as her ex-boyfriend.
The 25-year-old actress-and-singer - who revealed earlier this year that she is working on her fifth studio album - released her last LP, 'Raven-Symone', in April 2008 but it failed to make a big impact on the Billboard 200 chart.
Since then, Raven starred alongside Joanna Garcia and David Rogers in made-for-TV movie 'Revenge of the Bridesmaids' last year, which attracted 2.5 million viewers on its premiere.
