Dutch singer The Child Of Lov has axed all of his upcoming concerts, including a planned performance at Britain's legendary Glastonbury festival.
The star had been booked for a number of events throughout the summer (13), with appearances at Spain's Benicassim bash and England's Bestival, but it appears he's had a change of heart about playing live, suggesting creative issues with his stage sets have prompted him to pull his tour altogether.
He tells NME magazine, "If there's one thing I know, it is that I have to be able to express myself in what I do musically. I will not go as far as saying that performing live is worth less artistically than producing and composing a record, but, on a creative level, they are two entirely different things...
"Even though I do feel pressure to do a tour that involves some great festivals lately, I've come to realise that playing gigs cannot occupy a rewarding role if it is not exactly as I envisioned it, exactly as I want it, and exactly the way I know the audience deserves it."
