The Chainsmokers' Closer has landed a seventh week at the top of the U.S. singles chart.
As a result, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall become the first duo to top the Billboard Hot 100 countdown for that length of time since Outkast hit number one with Hey Ya! at the end of 2003, and the pair keeps another duo, Twenty One Pilots off the top.
Their Heathens stays put at two, while The Weeknd charges up the chart from 40 to three with Starboy. The jump is the biggest chart hike since Taylor Swift's Bad Blood leaped up the list from 53 to one in June, 2015.
Justin Bieber's collaborations with Major Lazer (Cold Water) and DJ Snake (Let Me Love You) round out the new top five, while One Direction star Niall Horan scores the Hot 100's highest debut of the week with his first solo single, This Town, which enters the chart at 63. The singer became the first existing member of the boy band to release a solo track on Thursday (29Sep16).
