Scottish rockers The Amazing Snakeheads have called time on the band following the recent exit of new drummer Scott Duff.

Duff joined the group with bassist Andrew Pattie in June (14) after original members William Coombe and Jordan Hutchinson quit, but the new line-up didn't last and the percussionist left The Amazing Snakeheads earlier this month (Feb15), prompting them to pull out of the NME Awards Tour 2015 with Austin, Texas.

Now frontman Dale Barclay reveals the band is over for good.

Breaking the news to fans on Twitter on Monday (23Feb15), he writes, "The Amazing Snakeheads are over. Never, ever to return. To anyone who came to get down, I thank you with all my heart. Dale Barclay."

The Amazing Snakeheads released one album, 2014's Amphetamine Ballads.
