The Airborne Toxic Event Return With Winter 2012/13tour Dates

Los Angeles' The Airborne Toxic Event are happy to announce their first tour dates since they began recording their as-yet-untitled third full-length LP. The band are playing New Year's Eve at the Metro in Chicago, IL, and will follow that show with a show at New York City's Webster Hall on January 15. Pre-sale for these dates will begin on Wednesday, October 24, and public on-sale will follow on Friday, October 26. For the itinerary, please see below.

The band are nearly finished recording their third album, due out sometime next year. They are recording in Nashville alongside producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Of Monsters & Men). The album follows the 2011 release of their acclaimed sophomore album All At Once, which was called "a crushing classic" by BBC and "the rock'n'roll equivalent of a tear-soaked novella" by SPIN.

The Airborne Toxic Event have earned their reputation as an aggressive touring act over the years. The band played more than 350 dates in support of their acclaimed 2008 debut album. In addition to their rigorous touring schedule, the band have performed on NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, CBS's The Late Show With David Letterman, Conan, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and CBS's Last Call With Carson Daly.
