Latin singing beauty Thalia Sodi will appear in a Spanish language print and television advertising campaign for American confectionary giant HERSHEY FOODS CORPORATION.

Hershey also plans to introduce a line of chocolate products featuring her name and designed to "appeal to Hispanic tastes".

Those candies will feature Hershey brands with "chili"-based flavours and "dulce de leche" fillings, among other flavour variations, says the company.

Sodi already has a line of goods at American chain KMART, which includes women's clothing, accessories, footwear, eyeglasses, linens and home furnishings.
