Scottish rock band Texas are taking a raunchy new direction with their upcoming album - by featuring a song inspired by phone sex sessions.

The I DON'T WANT A LOVER group, who have enlisted Tatu producer TREVOR HORN for their comeback album CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, focus on the sexy subject in track TELEPHONE X.

Singer SHARLEEN SPITERI says, "Telephone sex is better than all that really sinister Internet chat-room stuff, that's all I'm saying. But that is a dark sex song and Trevor Horn understood it totally."

And the AOR band believe their new sound will surprise some fans.

Sharleen adds, "This whole album actually connects in strange ways."

The first single from the long player - CARNIVAL GIRL - is released in the UK on 6 October (03).
