Iron Man star Terrence Howard is learning to write with both hands - just in case he injures his wrist in a stunt gone wrong.
The actor made it his New Year's resolution to become more ambidextrous and he showed off his new skills during an appearance on U.S. morning show Live! With Kelly on Wednesday (04Jan12).
He said, "I was, like, 'Man, what if my legs behaved the way my hands behaved, where one is stronger and one is weaker, I would be crippled.' I was like, 'I'm going to teach myself to write with both hands...'
"Everyday, everything you do, you know, just starting with one hand and shutting your eyes... We are all autodidact (self-taught) and now my left hand behaves like a true human hand - like it's supposed to."
Howard has pledged to keep working on his new skill throughout 2012.
