The Real Housewives of New Jersey star began her 15-month jail sentence in January (15) for her involvement in a fraud scandal that was exposed in 2013.

She was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut in the early hours of Wednesday morning having spent almost a year behind bars.

Her lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr. confirmed the news to People.com and added, "She is free."

Giudice will reportedly complete the remainder of her sentence under house arrest.

Her husband Joe was also convicted on fraud charges, and was sentenced to 41 months in prison back in October, 2014. A judge allowed them to serve terms one after the other for the sake of their four daughters.
