Proceeds from the sale on will go to the families of victims of the 13 November(15) atrocities, via Josh Homme's Sweet Stuff Foundation.

Terrorists killed 130 victims in multiple attacks on sites across the French capital, including 89 music fans at a rock concert by the band Eagles of Death Metal at the city's Bataclan theatre.

Josh is a co-founder of Eagles of Death Metal, but was absent from the group's Paris gig as he rarely tours with the band due to other musical commitments.

The Tribute musicians say that after the shocking attacks, their pal asked them to contribute to the charity appeal for those affected.

"Our friend Josh Homme asked if Tenacious D would participate in the awareness and fund raising campaign in the wake of the recent attacks," the band tells, "We were eager to join the cause. This is our small but heartfelt contribution."

Available in the auction are pieces of memorabilia including lizard and wizard stage outfits and an evil alien squid prop.

Other musicians are raising money for the Sweet Stuff Foundation Paris appeal by making their own versions of Eagles of Death Metal song I Love You All The Time, which are available to buy on iTunes. Participants include Florence + The MAChine, Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Jimmy Eat World, and My Morning Jacket.
