Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Taio Cruz were the early winners of Billboard Music Awards prizes in Las Vegas on Sunday (22May11).
Country star Swift picked up the night's first trophy after she was named Album Artist of the Year and Bieber then walked off with the Digital Artist of the Year accolade, just before Cruz claimed the Song of the Year prize for Dynamite.
Meanwhile, Lady Antebellum's Need You Now was named Country Song of the Year and Black Eyed Peas picked up the Top Duo/Group honour.
Special awards for Viral Innovator (Cee Lo Green) and Millennium Award (Beyonce) were also handed out and the two R&B stars stunned viewers and audience members alike with amazing live performances.
Feisty Beyonce performed new song Run The World (Girls) with a synchronised backdrop and then with an army of women dancers, while Green played through a medley of hits while spinning through the air above the stage, seated at a suspended piano.
Rihanna and Britney Spears opened the show with a sexy S&M duet, while Black Eyed Peas also performed hits during an energetic five minute set.
