The mother of a Boston bride is claiming Taylor Swift crashed her daughter's wedding over the weekend, shunning repeated requests to leave, and ruining the day for everyone involved. We think Victoria Gifford Kennedy may have missed a trick, and could have gotten Swift up on-stage for some free entertainment, though joking aside, this thing seems to be pretty serious.
Ms Kennedy told the Boston Herald that she didn't want the country crooner - who is dating Conor Kennedy - to distract from her daughter Kyle's big day, though she went and turned up anyway. The angry mother recalled, "They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come.I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come". She said Taylor, 22, and her new boyfriend showed up at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, where Kyle was marrying Liam Kerr. Victoria vented, "I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me". The country star's representative denied that she was unwanted at the wedding, saying, "There is no truth to that.Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there".
Swift recently bought a $5 million home near the Kennedy compound in Hyainnis Port - perhaps she and Conor will be celebrating their own wedding pretty soon?
