Tatum O'neal has revealed she is now dating women and admits she is open to dating both men and women.
Tatum O'neal has confessed she is currently dating women.
The 'Runaways' actress - who recently said she was attracted to ex-husband John McEnroe because he reminded her of her father - has now admitted she is having romances with women but has not found a ''steady'' relationship yet.
She said: ''I like women. I definitely have been dating mostly women recently. I think women are the most amazing creatures on earth. They're gentle, and also more intelligent than the men that I've met recently. I don't have a steady right now, but I look forward to it.''
However, the 51-year-old star - who has children Kevin, 29, Sean, 28 and Emily, 24, with the retired tennis player - is adamant she doesn't want to define her sexuality and will date both men and women.
She confirmed to People magazine: ''I'm not one or the other.''
Tatum also revealed she is more ''content'' than she has ever been in her life, which is partly due to being comfortable with her sexuality and feeling proud of all of her children including her eldest son, who recently released a book about his grandmother, Tatum's late actress mother Joanna Moore.
She added: ''I'm the most content I've ever been. I'm the proudest mother in the history of the world.
''Kevin found her voice so beautifully. The book has so much heart. I wish she were alive to see it.''
It's time for a riot grrrl revolution.
