Actress Tasha Smith has been ordered to pay her estranged husband $50,000 (£31,000) in spousal support as their divorce battle continues.

The Why Did I Get Married? star and Keith Douglas, her husband of four years, filed restraining orders against each other last month (Nov14) although they live in the same house.

Divorce proceedings are now underway and a judge has made Smith hand over $50,000 to Douglas because she was the main breadwinner in their relationship.

According to, the payment is a one-off as a permanent support agreement has yet to be reached.

The two, who married in 2010, will be back in court in January (15) for a hearing on their restraining orders.
