A woman accused of stalking actress Taryn Manning has been arrested for reportedly violating a plea deal.
The Orange is the New Black regular was granted an order of protection against Jeanine Heller last summer (14) after she was arrested for allegedly bombarding the 35-year-old star with hundreds of online messages between April and July (14).
Heller was taken into custody again in New York in September (14) and detained for criminal contempt after attempting to call Manning in late August (14), and then emailing her.
In October (14), Heller appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court, where she pleaded guilty to the contempt charge.
As part of her plea deal, she was ordered stay out of trouble for the next six months and undergo counselling in exchange for having the count reduced to a violation.
On Monday (12Jan15), Heller was scheduled to appear in a New York court for sentencing, but was arrested upon her arrival and is now awaiting arraignment on new counts of criminal contempt, according to the New York Daily News.
However, her lawyer insists she is innocent.
He says, "My client absolutely, adamantly maintains her innocence. She is confident that when the evidence is reviewed it will reflect that someone else may have accessed her email."
