Tara Reid has defended her partying days when she was younger. According to Access Hollywood, Tara Reid has revealed that she can now reminisce over her party days now that she is a bit older.

In an interview the actress stated: 'It was my fault, I did it ... [but] it wasn't that bad what I did. At the end of the day, I really [just] had fun. I wasn't doing crimes. I wasn't getting in trouble like that.' Reid caught it big when she appeared in 'American Pie' in 1999, the same year when she said to Rolling Stone magazine: 'When I go out to drink, I really drink. I black out sometimes. I don't know how I manage my life when I black out, but I still function and just keep going.' After nearly a decade of nights out and heavy drinking, the starlet eventually ended up at Promises Treatment Center in December 2008. Reid further elaborated to Access however that she still looks out for a good time: 'I like to have a good time, who doesn't? I just learned to be more discreet. Who you keep around and what you do is very important.'

Tara Reid will next be seen in 'American Pie' sequel 'American Reunion', starring all of the original cast members. The Jason Biggs film will be released in the UK on May 2nd (2012).
