Pregnant actress Tamera Mowry fought back tears on U.S. Tv on Thursday (15Jan15) after learning she is expecting a baby girl while on air.
The former Sister, Sister star and her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, announced their baby news online earlier this month (Jan15), but Mowry decided against discovering the sex of the child at the time as she wanted it to be a surprise.
She allowed Housley to find out if it was a girl or boy, and on Thursday, she caved in to her curiosity and had her husband unveil the news via a phone call during a taping of her morning talk show, The Real.
After declaring the couple is expecting a daughter, the mother-to-be began to cry as she admitted she was full of mixed emotions and confessed she was already worrying about her girl's teen years.
She told the studio audience, "I'm very excited but I'm scared... because I heard girls are...(tough)... I heard the young years are fine, they're great... I just want her to like me..."
The couple, which wed in 2011, already has a two-year-old son called Aden.
