British boyband Take That have begun co-writing songs for a new album - 10 years after their last release. The 1990s pop sensations scored a series of number ones thanks to the songwriting skills of frontman Gary Barlow, but the four remaining members will co-write all new material. Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald performed their first reunion gig last weekend (23APR06), and hope new material could begin a new era of success. Owen says, "We have started writing songs together for the first time, which is nice. If it all works out then there'll be a new album. It's exciting." Orange adds, "Everything's being split 25 per cent this time with the writing. It should have been that way the first time. "There's a really good vibe and I'm just getting my head around the fact that we're here again."
