An extra allocation of tickets will be available for T In The Park, with 1,000 released for July 7th and a further 1,000 for July 8th.
Cancellations due to the festival's anti-touting policy against multiple bookings and resold tickets have recouped a number of places that can now be sold to fans.
The tickets will go on sale at 09:00 BST on June 8th and fans will have to be quick as the last batch sold out in about 20 minutes.
George Ellis, from DF Concerts, said: "We are delighted to be able to out these extra tickets on sale, especially as it will give music fans another chance to attend the festival if they didnt get tickets the first time round.
"The Ticketmaster system that cancels multiple bookings is another way of continuing the fight against ticket touts and therefore protecting genuine music fans."
George Kyle, from the festival's main sponsor Tennent's Lager, said the company was happy that the "genuine music fan" was protected from touting and could get another chance at buying tickets.
The festival boasts an impressive line-up this summer with headline sets from Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Razorlight, Snow Patrol and Kings Of Leon.
Scottish rockers the Fratellis, Kasabian, Interpol, Maximo Park, Babyshambles, Amy Winehoise and Biffy Clyro will also be playing at the event.
