Scottish singer Susan Boyle is "recovering" after she was removed from a London airport over concerns for her welfare on Monday (25Apr16).
Police officers were called to London's Heathrow Airport over reports the I Dreamed a Dream singer had become distressed during an argument with a member of airport staff while waiting for her flight to Glasgow, Scotland.
Cops escorted her from the lounge and she had to make new travel arrangements to get back to Scotland.
A spokesman for London's Metropolitan Police issued a statement, which reads, "Police were called at 1.20pm to a lounge in T5 Heathrow to reports of a distressed woman... Officers attended and spoke to the woman after concerns for her health and wellbeing."
Her representative says, “Susan is currently recovering and on her way to Scotland by other means”.
