Scottish star Susan Boyle is in talks to buy the house next door to her childhood home so she can knock the two properties together to build her dream mansion.
The I Dreamed A Dream hitmaker has lived in the three-bedroomed property in West Lothian, Scotland all her life, and now plans to purchase the adjoining house so she can have more space, according to the Daily Record newspaper.
The project would create a six-bedroomed mansion.
A source tells Britain's Daily Record newspaper, "She has lived there all her life. It is her home and that will never change. She could buy a place anywhere in the world but this is where she stays... So to be able to stay put but extend is brilliant for her. She can't wait to start drilling through the walls. She is renting the house next door while she agrees a sale."
The house Boyle is planning to buy is worth an estimated $97,500 (£65,000).
The singer previously purchased a lavish five-bedroomed mansion in West Lothian after shooting to fame in 2010, but she decided against leaving her childhood home. Her niece now reportedly lives in the larger house.
