The stars of rock group Survivor are embroiled in a legal tussle with their record label bosses over royalties for their hit track Eye Of The Tiger.

Bandmates Frank Sullivan Iii and James Peterik claim they are owed money from digital downloads and streams of the song, and they are battling executives at Sony Records for their share of the cash, according to Tmz.com.

The website reports the pair is suing in a bid to force Sony bosses to pay up.

News of the legal battle has emerged just months after the death of their singer Jimi Jamison, who passed away in September (14).
