The 24-year-old has already tried her hand at acting and she is now adding singer to her resume with the release of a track, titled Brutally, an acoustic folk-style tune.

Suki shared a 30-second preview of the song, which is available on iTunes, and thanked Girls star Lena Dunham for featuring her track on a special edition of her Women of the Hour podcast series on Tuesday night (01Nov16).

"I put out my 1st song today," she tweeted. "It’s called 'Brutally' & means so much to be featured in @lenadunham’s #womenofthehour."

Lena shared the message and replied, "I love you".

Suki, who dated Bradley Cooper for two years until 2015, told Vogue.co.uk last year (15) that she was putting together a music project.

"It's a really important outlet for me as it's bare - it's not for other people, with other people's impressions put on you, or wearing other people's clothes," she said. "There is real imagination for me in music. One song will make someone feel something about a man, and it will make someone else think about their dead dog. It's personal."

Suki's acting career is also going from strength to strength from supporting roles in Love, Rosie and The Divergent Series: Insurgent to a starring turn in horror-thriller The Bad Batch, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in Italy in September (16).

Suki also has films Billionaire Boys Club, Jonathan and TV miniseries The White Princess in the pipeline.
