A rat risotto created by chef Gino D'Acampo on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' could lead to the show being cancelled.
'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' could face the axe because contestants cooked a rat.
The ITV reality show is being put under pressure by animal rights campaigners after winner Gino D'Acampo and fellow contestant Stuart Manning killed and prepared a rat on the programme.
Both Gino and Stuart face animal cruelty charges after the rat's death.
Animal rights groups are now said to be urging Australian prosecutors to cancel the show altogether.
However, fellow contestant George Hamilton claimed the pair were given permission to kill the rodent by the show's producers.
He said: "I went into the Bush Telegraph and said 'May we eat a rat?' They were a bit shocked, thought about it and then said we could. It was a very good dinner."
Gino made a rat risotto with the meat, which he shared with other contestants while they were in basic Exile camp.
The Italian chef's family said the chef's grandmother, Assunta, was "amazed" he had eaten the rodent.
Meanwhile finalist Kim Woodburn has said she was unaware she was filmed bathing during the show.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I remember saying to the producers before we started: 'Darlings, you won't be filming the celebrities washing, will you?' They said 'absolutely not'. I think they lied a bit there?
"But it doesn't bother me. If people want to see a woman of 67 washing and make something of it, or go to the lengths of making it look like she doesn't have her costume on, well, bring it on. It's all a bit silly, isn't it?"
