Following The Stone Roses appeal for help in searching for one of their fans - who went missing after their concert at Heaton Park on Friday June 29, 2012 - further details have been released in a bid to find him. 22 year-old Christopher Brahney left his friends at around 11:30pm to return to the venue, as he had lost his mobile phone.
Manchester Evening News have published a map of Christopher's movements and reported sightings of him, in the hope that members of the public will contact the police with further information. It is possible that he was at Bowlee Park and Ride later on in the evening: "He was seen getting off a bus at the site and also spoke to a group of young women, telling them he had lost his phone and his friends."
A group has been set up on Facebook, aimed at finding Chris and has attracted over 70,000 members. A group of his friends will meet in Manchester city centre tonight in the hope that they can raise awareness of his disappearance. In a statement released to the press, Ian Brown, Mani, Reni and John Squire said "If you saw Christopher at the end of the evening please get in touch with Greater Manchester Police and spread the word to everyone who came to the show. Our thoughts are with Christopher's family and we all want to see him back at home safe and sound."
