The Stone Roses' concert in Scotland on Saturday (15Jun13) was marred by the death of a fan.
The 24-year-old female was among 50,000 revellers who showed up for the sold-out gig at Glasgow Green park in Glasgow.
Emergency medical workers treated her when she was reportedly found sprawled on the ground, and she was then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she was pronounced dead.
A source tells the Daily Record, "She was found lying on the grass and her friends raised the alarm. Paramedics tried to help her but it doesn't look like there was anything they could do. A lot of (police officers) were on the scene and they interviewed the staff and other people who had been around."
A Police Scotland spokesperson adds, "A post-mortem will be carried out."
The event kicked off in the afternoon with opening sets from rockers The View, Jake Bugg and Primal Scream.
