Steven Soderbergh is finding making his ERNESTO 'CHE' GUEVARA biopic even more difficult, after the success of 2004 movie The Motorcycle Diaries.

While Soderbergh was unimpressed with early films about the Argentine revolutionary, he admits he was pleasantly surprised by the critically-acclaimed Walter Salles film, which starred Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal.

The OCEAN'S TWELVE film-maker is currently shooting his Guevara movie GUERRILA, starring Benicio Del Toro as the medical student-turned-communist fighter.

Soderbergh says, "It's also raised the bar of Guevara biopics, which has made my job 10 times harder.

"Benicio and I have been talking about it since TRAFFIC. Che's a very complicated subject, there's a lot of story there and the story we're going to tell is a war movie."
