Australian actor Steve Bisley has pleaded not guilty to assault charges after he was accused of attacking his ex-wife in September (09).
The Mad Max star was arrested following an altercation with Sally Burleigh at a property in Balmain, Sydney on 6 September (09).
Burleigh alleges her former partner slammed her head into a wall during a heated argument.
Bisley, 57, was subsequently charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one of common assault.
He entered a not guilty plea to both charges and Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court heard testimony from Senior Constable Matthew Holt, who spoke to Burleigh after the incident.
Holt told the court, "(Burleigh said) 'There are dents on the wall where he pushed me; I think that's how I got my marks on my elbows. I also have ringing in my ears because he pushed my head against the wall.'"
The case continues.
