Former Stereophonics drummer STUART CABLE has begun legal action against his former bandmates - at an employment tribunal.
Cable was dismissed from the band in September last year (03) after frontman Kelly Jones and his guitarist brother RICHARD accused him of having "commitment issues".
Furious Cable immediately hit back at the duo, arguing they had unfairly dismissed him and now he's determined to win his share of the profits the band have made.
A source close to Cable says, "Stuart was gutted when he was sacked from the band. He's been friends with Kelly since they were kids and it's been his life ever since. He's helped build the band to what it is now and he wants a slice of the profits."
When the legal action is finished, Cable has vowed to return to music by forming his own band.12/07/2004 09:34
