British Tv star Stephen Fry had to use his diaries to help him recall his wild antics while writing his memoir as he had forgotten all his crazy partying.

The funnyman recently detailed in his third autobiography, More Fool Me, his years of drug abuse and he hit headlines by revealing that he even took cocaine at London royal residence Buckingham Palace.

Fry has now told how he struggled to remember many details of his partying, so he studied his old diaries to help.

He tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "The things I did were astonishing, I am amazed. It is strange and so fascinating... I am not happy or proud and it's a biological miracle that I am still alive."
