Stephen Colbert is set to host his very own music festival this summer. The pretend-Conservative talk show host has announced a n impressive musical line-up for the show, which will take place on August 10, 2012 aboard New York's Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Amongst the musical acts to feature in the show are Santigold, Flaming Lips, Fun and Grandmaster Flash, who will serve as the official DJ for the event.

Colbert announced the news in a manner befitting to his screen persona, announcing that the title of the festivities will be "StePhest Colbchella '012: RocktAugustFest," and joking "Folks, if you watch this show on a regular basis, then you know that I am a big player in the music biz. And folks, I know all the latest hottest bands, like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza ... those guys are great. Well now it's summer and that means it's time to remount my long-running, one-year tradition of throwing my own summer concert. We'll be on deck with a boatload of rock talent," he promised. It's looking to be a promising follow-up to last year's Stephen Colbert-related musical extravaganza, which was named "StePhest Colbchella '011: Rock You Like a Thirst-Icane" and featured performances from Jack White, Florence and the Machine and Bon Iver.

Colbert will be holding interviews with the musical guests on each of his shows that week. Tickets for the show go on sale today (August 1, 2012), MTV News reports.
