Stephanie Seymour divorce from polo-playing husband Peter Brant was called off thanks to "an Indian blanket", reports the Huffington Post. After six months of divorce proceedings, Stephanie Seymour decided to work things out with her husband but never explained the reasons for trying to save the marriage.
Seymour has now shed light on the divorce, telling the Town & Country's May issue that their happy ending was down to her husband's Indian blanket that she gave back to him as a truce. Seymour says the sentimental memento made her realise how out of control the divorce had gotten and helped them reconcile, saying, "The dirty fight is all about winning, not healing. It's fuelled by people you're paying. It is the lawyers talking and not you . . . ". Since getting back together, Seymour says she and her husband still live in separate homes and are currently in counselling, saying, "Of course we're in therapy. And then I have my own therapist, and the kids have theirs, and there is nothing wrong with this".
Before marrying Brant, Stephanie Seymour was romantically involved with the actor Warren Beatty and the GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose. She appeared in the band's music videos for 'Don't Cry' and 'November Rain'.
