The Spice Girls are to launch the West End stage musical that was based on their songs. Rumours had been circulating that Victoria Beckham would not attend the launch but The Sun reports that the former Posh Spice will indeed be in attendance at the bash tomorrow. The show, Viva Forever, was written by Jennifer Saunders and is based on the songs of The Spice Girls. Viva Forever is scheduled to re-open in London's West End in December 2012.
The Sun heard from a source "There's been rumours knocking about that Victoria wasn't going to show - but she always made it a priority. She was never going to miss the launch and is looking forward to seeing the rest of the girls. The musical is a proud moment for them all. It will be emotional." The last few months have been rife with rumours of the band getting back together, with a possible Olympics-based reunion thought to be on the cards at some point. There's no concrete news on that but the fact that they will all be putting in an appearance at the re-launch of the musical will provide hope for fans hoping to catch another glimpse of their pop heroines in action.
If Victoria shows her face tomorrow, it will be the first time that all five girls have been seen together publicly since 2008. In their time together as a girl group, The Spice Girls sold over 75million records across the globe.
