Veteran pop stars Sparks are to perform their pioneering album Kimono My House in concert later this year (14) to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us hitmakers have enlisted the U.K.'s 35-piece Heritage Orchestra to deliver new arrangements of tracks on the 1974 record for the show in London.

They will also perform other songs from their 43-year career.

In a statement, Sparks brothers Ron and Russell Mael say, "Come celebrate with us the 40th anniversary of our album Kimono My House! To make the evening excruciatingly special, we will perform it in its entirety with the 35-piece Heritage Orchestra. And since we'll be in full-on celebratory mode and in no rush to go home, we'll also perform a selection of songs from our other 22 albums with blaring symphonic accompaniment. You waited 40 years; the wait is over!"

The concert is due to take place at London's Barbican on 19 December (14).
